History Behind the Cocktail

Beauty Tipsy was inspired by a woman from France who visited the 10/10 Pool Bar at Novotel Suites Yogyakarta Malioboro. She loved the Manhattan drink and enjoyed five glasses of the Manhattan Cocktail while sharing stories about her boyfriend and life in France. It was not uncommon for her to show sadness through her facial expressions, even to the point of getting drunk.

The next day, she returned to the 10/10 Pool Bar and ordered a Basic Manhattan Cocktail but with a different taste. We then developed the Manhattan cocktail with a unique flavor that is smoother and richer in herbs.

She loved the cocktail so much that she finished seven glasses and continued to talk about her life in France. However, at this point, the woman began to enjoy the vibes we provided, as seen in her happy expressions.

We thought she had started to forget about her problems and her boyfriend back in her country. After the party ended, she gave a warm hug and said goodbye, as it was her last night in Indonesia. She also expressed her gratitude for the wonderful experience that transformed her feelings from sadness to happiness.

At that moment, we were inspired to name our Signature Cocktail at 10/10 Pool Bar as “Beauty Tipsy.”
