10/10 Pool Bar and Novotel Suites Yogyakarta Malioboro incorporate the “Batik Kawung” pattern as the theme for KarnavAll Batik. The Kawung pattern carries a meaningful message, reminding everyone to always stay connected to and never forget their roots. This pattern features a repetitive geometric pattern that is perfectly chosen especially for this celebration.
10/10 Pool Bar has prepared several events, ranging from the distribution of special “Batik Kawung” souvenirs by local Yogyakarta SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises), Batik DIY workshops, SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) showcases, and culminating in the “Wastra Kawung” fashion show on October 27. The show will feature 11 local designers from Yogyakarta and surrounding areas, presenting over 50 exclusive Batik ready-to-wear pieces. This Wastra Katresnan Fashion Show is open to the public, so don’t miss this spectacular event!
